I've installed v11 b7 and have been playing with it. So far I'm liking what I see. My first impression right after installing and seeing the site with test data was, "smooth!". It still has the same look and feel of previous versions, but is very smooth and different from previous versions. The developers have done a great job with this version!

The biggest thing I've not liked so far is those tool tips that pop up when hoovering over something.

Is there anyway to disable those tool tip popups or change how long they appear? When I mouse over say a menu item the tool tip blocks the view of items in the sub menu. I've come across this in multiply places and it quite frustrating. I'm still working my way through the admin panel and not come across a setting yet.

There is no setting for it (right now). Tooltips are part of accessibility standards compliance for those who use screen readers and navigation assistance.

I do agree that the tooltips as they are now are a bit annoying sometimes and need fixed. We use our own Composr-based tooltips because they have cross-platform support with phones and tablets (and can display rich media).
