I thought the date format supposed to change depending on member's locale? It's in American format (mm.dd.yyyy) for all members. I've dug through the different configurations, and only found Site options -> Internationalization, but options checked or unchecked made no difference in date format. I have to be missing something somewhere.

If I recall correctly, it is defined within one of the .ini language files, e.g. it's based on selected language and not locale. I don't currently have access to my development computer until next week so I can't take a look to be sure / find which file it is.

Don't put any/much effort into this - it's not on my priority list since it doesn't affect the operability of my site. I'll do some digging in those .ini language files and see what I discover.  

What's weird now is, it's showing dd.mm.yyyy (mm.dd.yyyy before) without any changes on my part.
