How to disable
Greetings! As all will know, page add/edit interfaces come with a set of metadata input fields for entering words for use as search tags. By default - i.e., if a new page is saved without entering any - Composr auto-generates a selection of tags from words included in the text entered into the page's description (and any other Comcode supporting) field(s). (If I recall correctly, ocPortal didn't - only manually inputted tag-words got displayed). Manually entering a single tag-word (or more) prevents Composr from performing this op.
My site is a community knowledgebase, for which the search feature is centrally important, and to that end, we deploy a managed list of keywords/tags for indexing pages that ensures users get the maximum results from their search queries. Unfortunately Composr's auto-generated tags are mostly worthless and a nuisance to users who add pages and to us staff who have to track their origin and replace them with listed tags.
Would anyone please be able to tell me how to disable tag auto-generating? I suspect that would require a backend alteration, and I'm not a programmer. Failing that, I'd go for not displaying tags at all, via CSS, and would be capable of doing that for myself - but it would be nicer by far not to go to that extreme.
Thanks for reading!

Search for "Automatic keyword extraction" as I assume this setting must be turned on in your site config?
There is also an option to "Enable SEO fields" and you can select yes, no or "Only when editing (not adding)" ;)
Hope this helps,

However, if you have any personal suggestions or ideas on how we can improve automatic tagging, please let me know and I'll consider it for the development road map.
