It's not acceptable to force every person who wants to see if they can help to individually go and translate your post to even see what it's about.

The mobile version uses the same templates and CSS as the desktop version. The mechanisms in Composr for dealing with this are documented in this tutorial:

It is normal that the website fills the browser window for mobile mode. Different mobile devices have different device widths, and allow viewing in both portrait and landscape modes – so there is no obvious width to restrict things to.

In desktop mode there is a fixed width option, which makes sense because no desktop browser is going to have less width than 1000px, so it works to effectively standardise the width on  desktops, something not possible on mobile.

Thank you for explaining, sorry I didn't realise that could have happened. I'll try and think of some kind of better translation solution for the forum then.

We don't close topics unless we're trying to shut off discussion due to some kind of rules violation, which I don't think has ever happened.

I'm trying to disable the auto-translator, but it turns itself on when I don't expect it on the forum, maybe because of a previous action on another site. Don't bother, I'll be more principled. Automatic translation is now implemented  . You don't need to do anything, it detects non-English text and passes it through Google Translate. You can see it active in this topic.
I also have enabled easy machine translation on Transifex using Google translate.
