What i am looking at doing is making some template edits which will further change the look of the site. Some of these changes may only suit a minority.
To get a better idea of what people are using their sites for i would ask that as many of you reply with your cosmetic wish list.

I would like a theme, a homepage with floated boxes with a reasonable pixel wide margin around. and subpages linked from each box.

I also go with this.

The metallic look and floating boxes. Are you guys able to find an example of what you are looking for?
I have also made the theme I am using on my site available via my downloads area, this includes the custom fading news edits etc. You will need to register to download it.

This is more building a frontpage as apposed to making a new theme. A service I may provide at a later date.

However Compo.sr is great, the theme is a bit…. heavy.
Gradients, big borders etc.
More flat, smaller buttons (font awsome) will be nice.
I hear from devs, that composr 11 will have a new theme wich one is more optimized for mobile

I did make a dark theme using dark blue, if i get time i could make some minor tweaks to make it a dark purple.
Haven't been around for a while as my online project gained no interest, started a new job, purchased a new house. Phew.

I am new here and I have enjoyed your G series themes, I am only experimenting to find out what composr is all about, it's huge!!!! Being a part of other volunteer open source projects I appreciate all the time you had to put into those themes, hope life has settled down to a dull roar for ya.
