You can delete this, I'm not using compo.sr anymore...

It broke too quickly.

a basic edit left me unable to save any site config options... heading to drupal.

Would you care to share exactly what basic edit left your site broken? That info would be greatly helpful and appreciated by the Composr community and developers.

In any case, good luck on your website with whichever CMS you ultimately choose to use.

Well, I'm afraid I won't be of much help to you. See, I the site wasn't even live yet, and so I was just creating a couple basic catalogs (students, grades, and basic info) nothing major, I had added some comcode pages… again, nothing fancy… I had the site themed with some basic css edits, no custom php or anything.

And I went to access one of the admin sections, and it came up with some stack traces, so I tried other admin sections, and more stack traces.

I feel that I should let you know that the site tree editor gave a stack trace as well, off a fresh install. So I think there may be some issue out of the gate, that just somehow propagated to the rest of the site.

Thanks for the well-wishes.
From what I've experienced with compo.sr it's a great system… it just didn't work for me. :(

The issue on the Site Tree editor is a compatibility issue on PHP 7.2, which came out relatively recently. It will be fixed soon.

I'd have to see the stack traces to look at the other issues, but it sounds like you've probably uninstalled Composr at this point.

Yes, I'm well on my way with drupal 8 at this point in time.
The Site tree editor wasn't what really killed my composr site, it was whatever caused the admin section of it to crash. :(

Good luck with composr. though, it seems like it's a really nice cms!
