Only recently this wonderful software and installed it locally. During installation it asked which forum I wanted to use so I clicked on phpBB which I have running locally too. However, when I wanted to log in at the end it said "The member ‘Fraudeau’ does not exist." and there was no way I could log in anymore. And yes, I use that silly nick on phpBB too.

Does Composr work together with phpBB at all?

What you describe happening could be a possible bug. I will investigate and report back my findings. If I come up with a fix, I will also give you an unofficial hotfix for the PHPBB driver that you can replace the broken driver with on your server.

 I was not able to reproduce your problem on an installation of Composr 10RC16 and PHPBB 3.1.9 .

What versions of Composr and PHPBB are you attempting to use? In addition, are you using the same database for both Composr and PHPBB… or did you select to use different databases during the installation process?

Third, you mentioned your error states "The member ‘Fraudeau’ does not exist." Are you sure you didn't make a typo with your username? I ask because here, your username is Freaudeau (according to the error, you forgot the e in 'freaud…').

Composr 10RC16 and PHPBB 3.1.9, installed locally with MAMP sharing the same database after installation.

The nickname in my forst post was a typo. Sorry for that. I use a simple, four letter word as a nick on my test sites - no problem there.

I was able to reproduce the problem after creating a new account on PHPBB and trying to log in to it via. Composr. I will investigate.

Please unzip the following onto your Composr installation and overwrite the old phpbb3.php file with this one. Then try logging in as Freaudeau and let me know if it works. Thank you!
