This is marked as fixed but not seeing any difference with the latest Firefox and the 10.0.14 release.

You're right. This was done on v11 branch as a feature, but I found it actually was a bug and should have done on master.

It's a simple change, just committed to master:

Is this for the main calendar or the side block calendar (which is where the current day needs to be highlighted?).

Should be side block, probably the style is shared but I'd have to check.
