I don't think v9.0.8 has caused either of these issues.

I think the topic crop length is unchanged. However, I do acknowledge it is not cropping well. I'll attach a template that fixes that.

As for button fading, this works for me on my development site, and I don't believe we've changed that code. I can note that this probably doesn't work on IE8 and below, as that doesn't support opacity properly. If IE was put in compatibility mode it might have a similar issue.

Tested with several browsers but the issues disappeared when browsers' cache cleared (I had to repeat the procedure several times). They still exist in Chromium only, but suppose that it's due to browsers cache system rather than Composr. Thanks
