This is now implemented :). File for v9 is attached.

I am holding this issue open due to the need to merge into v10.

I'm actually going to close this, and post a new zip in #977 -- it makes sense to deliver these together. So I would suggest using the zip from that issue, not this one. It'll be in the same git branch.
