Looks like the issue is specifically with select2

For some odd reason, select2 cannot compile on my local dev server (Windows 11, PHP 7.4, Apache 2.4). The Tempcode preexecution code is the issue and causes the server to crash on recursion.

Cannot reproduce this problem on an OVH AlmaLinux server though. I'm using the same configuration apart from the OS... PHP 7.4, Apache 2.4. But it compiles select2 just fine.
