The captcha which is shown above the form (not below where it probably makes most sense) claims it will reset in 30 minutes. It doesn't and switching IP's with a VPN and using a different browser gives me the same exact same captcha image. Perhaps this is the problem?

It could be. I noticed the block cache was not working correctly in that block and I changed it in v11. Perhaps I should back-port that change to 10.0.45? Essentially, I added a condition where the cache will get busted if a visitor's logged in member ID, or their IP address, changes. Thus, the CAPTCHA should in theory display correctly. I may go further and change the cache to bust by session instead since CAPTCHA is session-based.

EDIT: As for the no email issue, I'll have to look into that. Composr shouldn't give a success message if the CAPTCHA was wrong, so there seems to be a secondary bug at play. Do you see an email logged in the Composr email log?

Hello,

Yes, it appears to be an issue with your host. I was not able to reproduce it; it worked fine on two separate server environments of mine.

Note that I did not try what you specified in Steps to Reproduce (did not use SMTP, Bettermail, etc). But it worked fine with the local email server.

Please let me know the specific errors you are encountering and what settings you are applying for each of those error conditions (minus credentials, of course).
Did you test as a Guest with the captcha? I thought that might have been the issue but even when I am logged in there is clearly something amiss, The email logs actually say they have been sent, but nothing has arrived, just tried again without SMTP enabled and I was told the System mail could not be sent, so not sure what's happening. I will likely not bother with a form :P

Hello, I just tested with Guest / CAPTCHA and it seems to work fine with that as well. Yeah that's weird. Does anything else e-mail wise work on the site?
This issue was resolved by the hosting company, but other emails were sending without issue at the time.
