The form fields are literally named "username" and "password", so this seems something specific to Buttercup.

Buttercup seemingly can't initialise itself on iframes.
This issue is basically saying that https://github.com/buttercup/buttercup-browser-extension/issues/288 (it's a very unclear issue but you can see how 238 was closed talking about iframes and pointed to 288).
Fundamental problem with Buttercup IMO.
