Hi,

This menu is actually auto-generated based on the forums configured. You can edit the front page's Comcode to make is a custom menu, changing the parameters to the menu block.
I understand the auto-generated aspect of this menu. The problem arises as more forums are added, this list gets longer and longer (why I added the 'Test Forum Addition'). Although a parameter choice of showing how many items to display may be available (this is questionable, see attachment 'Destinations main page layout code'), it may not allow for choosing which forums to display, and what order (as the other menus/lists here on the main page do).
I explored the code for that main page, the small blocks that say 'click to edit' are not there, making editing difficult.
The code from the main page is the new attachment ('Destinations main page layout code'), as I reviewed this and could not find editable parameters.

With any theme there will be areas inappropriate for your situation. That's just the inevitable situation with them. We could make tools to making managing each theme better, implement more options on them, and better configuration tools, but the cost for us would run into thousands of pounds per theme and we'd never recoup it. So it is still necessary to do some hand editing (E.g. via turning the WYSIWYG editor off and coding XHTML etc) or by using a paid support service to get the customisations done by a professional.
The Theme Wizard gets you 20% to a good design. Alternatively picking a fairly close theme gets you 80%. But nothing's perfect I'm afraid.
