Can we also have a break inserted after any Comcode block, in Firefox I need to switch to Source view to add one, before I can proceed to add anything else in WYSIWYG view.

I don't think that's in any way related to auto-saving, please add a new issue and make sure it is clear what you mean by "Comcode block", where they are missing, and how they are needed.
