When you say the page remains the same, do you mean the page *as viewed from within the unslider block*?

I wonder if it's a caching issue. Try emptying the block cache from Admin Zone > Tools > Website cleanup tools.

Meaning if you change words or the pictures and hit save it doesnt change yet at the bottom where its shows the revisions/reverts it show its updated.

Discussed privately, issue was source view of WYSIWYG editor.
