Attached is the old 'v8' branches EN files, so we can diff to find what changes were made when reincorporating these changes.

global.ini is good now.

menus.ini is very close to good.

blocks.ini has quite a lot of stuff from addons that can be uninstalled. Ideally these would be separated into dedicated ini files but realistically it does not matter at all.

Closing this as done, and will leave note in the split-up-addons task. There really is no point to this unless we go very strict everywhere.
