Thanks for the sponsorship :). I was able to get this one into v10 quickly.

The syntax will be like...

Copyright © $CURRENT_YEAR=2015

Composr will trim the "$CURRENT_YEAR=" bit out when displaying, but when managing content it will spot it and refresh the year that follows back into the option setting if needed.
