I'm not going to be able to reproduce this I'm afraid.

Running "ps -Af" would probably have shown it as cron_bridge.php calls

I did notice that CRON was taking a while to run when working on your previous issue, but it seems fast now. If you notice CRON slowing down again, please let me know and I'll see if I can identify something.
