Configuring email on a Composr site

In Server Options -> IMAP, you can include email server info to get email working on a Composr site. However, shouldn't that be called SMTP? Because IMAP is for incoming mail, not outgoing. So, isn't this area where we'd put Outgoing server info, not Incoming server info? Because, in my way of thinking, if your server gets an email, it'll be forwarded to your email client. But that's not going to happen to a Composr site because a Composr site won't receive the email, will it? I mean, how would a Composr site know what else to do with an incoming email other than forward it to your personal email client, right? Any why would it do that if the email client, say, on your phone or on your home computer, already does that? I may be mixed up here, but shouldn't this be called SMTP, because Composr needs to know how to send an email, not receive one, right? Can someone tell me where I'm mixed up at? :)

There is also a section for SMTP on that page (should be). Is there not on your end?

So IMAP is for what it says; connecting with a mail box for bounce mail detection, e-mail testing, forum mailing lists, and support ticket e-mail integration. Although I believe there are duplicate IMAP settings for these specific features. I may have to make changes to these options in the future.

Then the separate SMTP section is to make Composr use an SMTP server for outgoing mail.
