Is it possible to have a feature to mass-check and bulk-delete news from the edit news screen as well as in forumview ?

Mass-delete news is something we very much want to do, but we require feature-sponsorship to fund it and are currently over-stretched on existing commitments:

Mass-delete already exists for forum topics.
