No point system installed...

I did not include the ponts store when I configured Composr. I do have Usergroups based on the default settings, except hat the group names are different. Now I am using the member TEST in SU mode to check out the security of my website. I thought I could just promote TEST to the next levels to see if there were any holes in security but I cant find how to promote or even to give points to a member.

Am I at the point of having to go back to configuration and add the points module to be able to promote members in usergroups?
— or maybe I should just have one level of membership?
— but if I do that how do I promote to Super-moderator, Supermembers or put someone on probation?

You should be able to change a members group by editing the profile. Pretty sure I've changed the group for the test account before and that's how I think I did it.
