| Description | Adding this ticket on the basis that your role as Admin may present you with a different view, but when the site is offline the homepage loses elements and layout. Even though the site is rarely offline, you may want to ensure this page at least displays correctly (or instead provides the site offline message). |

A hacker had triggered closed site mode without our awareness. Fortunately it wasn't a serious vulnerability, just a poorly written maintenance script they were able to trigger, which they found out about via git.
