Summary | 4943: Make it clear private tracker issues should not be for shy bug reports
Description | Bug reports are supposed to be of public record. However, people may post a private issue because they don't want to have a public discussion for personal reasons. This puts the admins in a difficult position because they then would have to negotiate how to open up a private issue with the submitter, or close and recreate the issue creating extra noise, confusion, and work. Make it clearer what the Private option is for.

Fixed in git commit 8e156384c4 (https://gitlab.com/composr-foundation/composr/commit/8e156384c4 - link will become active once code pushed to GitLab) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) has been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. If there are files in a hot-fix that you don't have then they probably relate to addons that you don't have installed and should be skipped. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |

If this is because of me, I made a recent issue private for no other than reason that I wasn't sure if I was reporting an actual bug or deleting the report until I'd recreated. Apologies. |

Yeah, that's okay, in that kind of case just make your go-private intention clear please then with a comment. |
