Summary | 201: [feature suggestion] Full customizable setup
Description | It would be a good idea to: 1. move anything setup related into the setup wizard instead to force users to first copy the sample config file and to edit it to prepare the setup 2. simplify the setup procedure by allowing user to select the basic (less steps to install and make the site work after this few steps) or advanced (in this mode all setup options should be avaliable) mode. 3. add additional site type template with would allow users to self build it's structure and fit ti to his/her's needs instead to use any pre-made structure.

Duplicate of 165 (Thanks though, we agree!) |

I allow myself disagree that's a duplicate because I typed some ideas with weren't mentioned in the other post. |

1- I suspect you used the integration package to install for some reason, or possibly you made life hard ;). The normal download has an installer, there is never ever a need to edit a config file. 2- If not mentioned in the Setup Wizard issue, it is something we intend. 3- Maybe discussed in one of the Theme Wizard issues. We also have some other things up in the air in this kind of area. |

This was done with installation-profiles a while back. Generally wizards are considered poor usability by usability experts, so there's no plan to squeeze everything into wizards, but the setup wizard installation-profiles work very nicely as quick starts. |
