Summary | 1690: On logging in or out
Description | A problem has been detected with your web server that may cause your login to fail – if it does, click back and read the rest of this message. Some servers are poorly configured, and invisibly redirect traffic from one URL to another, and this invisible redirection results in lost submitted form data. Try changing your base URL in the config editor so that it contains www. then come back to this URL (make sure to refresh the page) and try again. There can be other causes, such as your server blocking web requests to itself. If problems persist, contact your web host. url follows http://mirfieldrifle.co.uk/Composr/index.php?page=login&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fmirfieldrifle.co.uk%2FComposr%2Findex.php%3Fpage%3Dstart%26redirected%3D1
Steps To Reproduce | On logging in as admin the following will somtimes appear but will always appear on log out
Additional Information | it has seemed to happen whilst trying to incorporate Facebook Integration and twitter integration of which I managed only facebook integration- by deleting the addons the situation still remains so left the facebook add on remaining in tact as it seems to work reasonably but not efficiently

Automated response: Reduce intensity of login check The check to see if the server is misconfigured (run at the point of you logging in) is a well-implemented test, however some servers may be configured in such a way as to rate-limit requests, causing false positives. |

Fixed in git commit a46a0c7 (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/a46a0c7 - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |
