Summary | 1620: Add New Download; expanding categories instead tries to submit form
Description | Composr: 9.0.12 OS: Linux Domain: www.wrrj.org Host: Web Hosting Hub When trying to expand a parent category on the "add new download" page, instead of viewing the child categories, the website tries to submit the download form, obviously erroring.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Log in as a user with download-adding permissions 2. Create child categories for a parent download category. 2. Go anywhere in the downloads and add a new download. 3. Click the + sign to the left of the parent category to try and expand to see the child categories. Instead, the website tries to submit the form.
Additional Information | I've confirmed this bug on two separate Composr installations. The bug was not apparent in 9.0.11 to my knowledge. I've also confirmed this error to hold for a parent category with no child categories. Instead of a +, it'll have a - . Clicking the - does the same thing.

Fixed in git commit ee134aa (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/ee134aa - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |

Automated response: Tree list expansion doesn't work on some forms A usability improvement in 9.0.12 introduced an unintended bug that breaks some forms. |
