This addon doesn't get much use Jim, but it should work.

Note this is the non-bundled Twitter support addon, not the Twitterfeed addon.

We can integrate Twitter addon to the Composr for automatic syndication of posted site news to Twitter. This addon is not the part of Composr core. It is a third party addon not bundled with the Composr CMS. So, we need to add this addon to the Composr manually. To add Twitter addon to the Composr, go to:

Admin Zone >> Structure >> Addons

Use the “Import third-party addon” link from the bottom of the page.

Then select “Twitter Support” from the “Third Party Integration” category, and press “Import third-party addon” button.

The next page is to confirm our actions. It will display a list of files which will be installed on the system during Twitter addon integration. We can untick/uncheck any file if we are not sure about them. The page will also display the details of the addon like Name, Author, Organisation, Version, Description etc on the bottom of the page as a table. We need to press the “Proceed” button to start the Twitter addon installation.

It will be displayed in the addons table after the successful installation.

Funnily enough this tutorial didn't meet it's brief at all - but was still useful, as I found we had not documented the addon management process.

I have done that using this for cues, and then also rewritten the description for the Twitter support addon, which was too vague (didn't need a tutorial, just a better description).
