Removing Icons From Header Menu

I have been editing the 'copy' of the menu made so that it can be editable. Each branch I have select Icon -> None. But when viewing the page with the updated menu, it is automatically showing a green "page" icon before every menu link. I have tried to locate any part of the CSS file that I might be able to add 'hide' to in order to not have the icons shown. But so far, for all of my efforts, every link has the green page icon. The closes response I got from a Google search was the .css approach but I had to find which CSS file might even have it as Google couldn't even tell me that.
But I wanted to try to avoid overriding ALL because I do want to keep the 'social' link in the menu and have an icon for that. But every other link is fine without an icon. I would like a method that will 'pay attention' to the fact that the icons are set to None for specific links but will not completely remove all icons should I choose to have some.
I appreciate any help on the matter as I am brand new to Composr. MANY years of experience with CMS' in general but am trying to get acquainted with the way that Composr does things!
