External image servers?

I used to have a pretty snazzy Composr website, and it taught me a lot. I learned that when the site gets bigger, a LOT of emails get sent to people, so you have to turn on email queueing. The other thing I learned is that even 100GB of drive space isn't anything in the world of social media users uploading images and videos. So, how does one solve that? Has anyone ever integrated Google Drive into a Composr site, or tried to integrate Amazon storage services, or something like that? Furthermore, is there a mechanism to do something like that currently in Composr, or would that have to be some kind of coded addon using some kind of existing cloud services API and whatnot?

Composr has Cloudinary API options, but they have not been tested for v11 (and probably won't be as it's not officially supported / developer constraints). If you'd like, you can hire me to get it working or to consider another platform integration.
