Is there an easy way to remove an author using the admin zone?

I go to Content > Authors > Setup or Merge

I can select the specific author, but there's no delete option.

I believe I can use PHPadmin to easily do it, but hopefully there's a way within composr itself.

Yeah, that's confusing. I'm adding this to the docs which should clarify what you're seeing…

You can delete any author that has been set up by going to set it up, similar to how editing any other content in Composr.
Authors that have not been set up can not be deleted as they only exist due to references by other content.
