| Description | Currently, the IM opens a new window instantly when a member receives an IM. But this violates W3C accessibility guidelines.
To comply, Composr must prompt the member on the page / ask them if it is okay to open a new window. So let's do this through an overlay. This may become an issue because the IM window, if closed accidentally or something, cannot re-open itself without again prompting the member. If that is the case, consider in-line IM solutions opposed to using pop-up windows. Or just get rid of the IM feature completely; we have Private Topics and chatrooms for that. |
