| Description | I think it's fantastic how the forum and website are integrated (and that other forums can also be integrated). However, I wonder why a website that doesn't install a forum cannot have members at all. Also consider that some end users may wish to have a forum, but completely separate (with the exception of perhaps or sharing a session or login credentials, though some may not require this) to the main website. I personally would like a setup where the site is for subscribers and Conversr is for regular members and Guests but that's just me (or maybe it's not). Just some thoughts, it does seem strange to not be able to support members without having a forum installed. |

By keeping the member system within Conversr, this ensures Composr doesn't have two member systems (because when picking another forum, Composr will use that instead of Conversr).
I have no plans to change this functionality at this time without a very good reason as it would require a lot of core modifications. As a workaround, admins can install Conversr but hide / disable all of the forum aspects of it and just use members. This is what I do on one of my sites.
