Description Currently we have left or right aligned rating boxes for rating.

This is a bit ugly, and dates way back to the earliest days of Composr. We had a reputation for a blocky layout, which was all the trend then.

At this point it stands out as a bit of a sore thumb as in most cases there is nothing to align itself next to.

For time constraints we are leaving it as-is in v11 - in fact, we reverted a change on the gallery image/video screen to the box layout to keep things consistent.

There is sometimes a good reason to have it in a box too, because Composr has a mechanism for configuring multiple rating schemes - so displaying it as a simple thumbs up/down or star field isn't enough if that's in use.

I think this actually needs to be a theme option. The option specifies whether to include the rating UI as a part of the other metadata, or whether it is in its own box. The templates would read this theme option and respond accordingly.
