| Description | I have seen in the wild someone try to upload a PAX file, with a .tar extension, and expect Composr to support it.
PAX is an extension of TAR, but it looks like some tools may be using the .tar extension for it, and many TAR tools support PAX natively so it's not obvious what's going on for people. I'm going to push a hotfix so PAX files will 'work', but none of their extra functionality will. Particularly, non-ASCII filenames and long filenames (different from the @LongLink TAR extension which also adds this support). |
