#4805 - Static cache test has issues
| Identifier | #4805 |
|---|---|
| Issue type | Minor issue (breaks specific functionality) |
| Title | Static cache test has issues |
| Status | Completed |

| Version | 10.0.39 |
| Addon | General / Uncategorised |
| Description | Due to #4769 the test now needs to show a clean message if there is a POST form on the home page, saying the test cannot run. Additionally, PHP 8.1 will show PHP errors on some fail cases rather than clean assertions. Additionally, we should not pass keep_devtest=1 even if dev-mode is on as it may interfere with the caching. Additionally, on my new PC the main static cache test may fail only due to HTTPS taking a little longer to establish a connection (for whatever reason). Extend the timeout a little. |

| Hotfixes | hotfix-4805, 2022-01-27 4pm.tar Only apply these hotfixes if you absolutely need them and cannot wait until the next release of Composr (releases are more reliable and strictly tested). We provide no guarantee that hotfixes will work; they may even break your site especially if a hotfix depends on another hotfix. Always make a site backup if you attempt to apply a hotfix. As of Composr version 11, the recommended way to apply a hotfix is by following the same steps as an upgrade:
For Composr version 10, manually extract the files (e.g., using 7-Zip) and overwrite files in your Composr installation that are older than the ones in the hotfix (check the file modification date/time). Skip hotfix files that do not exist in your installation. |
