| Description | Have a scheduler task that looks through recent Git activity. Try and match Git committer names to Composr accounts, and give users a basic set of points for each commit they do.
Name matching might have to work via a CPF. This should be a somewhat nominal number of points, as good contributions would be manually awarded with point gifts. This will end up rewarding both people who review merge requests, and actual committers - that is because the merge request exists in the commit history with two parents, and the linearised git log will show the original commiters commits, the branch's own commits, and the merge commit. That's good, we want to reward both. |
