| Description | We don't have any automated testing for forum drivers or import.
Problems: 1) It needs real data which we probably don't want to put in git. But we could put it in a separate repository of test data. 2) It needs regularly maintaining for newer versions of software. If we don't do this, automated testing is pretty irrelevant. $$$ 3) The software being imported may not be free to use. 4) There's a seriously long-tail of potential software to integrate. 5) It can't be done in straight-forward automated tests, as creating/breaking a complete installation is required. This can be done bit-by-bit if we have sponsors. These maintenance codes are involved: forum_ipb - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update forum_mybb - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update forum_none - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform forum_phpbb - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update forum_smf - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update forum_vb - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update forum_wbb - Add unit tests / Continuous integration platform / Update import_html_site - Add unit tests import_ipb - Add unit tests import_mybb - Add unit tests import_phpbb - Add unit tests import_smf - Add unit tests import_vb - Add unit tests import_wordpress - Add unit tests |
