| Description | Not sure where to place this so I picked wiki. Also not even sure what to call it lol. I'll try my best to explain this feature request.
You are working on a wiki page, one of say 250+ wiki pages. You decide that it would be nice to link to a related wiki page. For example (my case) I am working on a page in my RPG wiki about races and thought it would be nice to link the races discussed to the actual wiki pages for each race. So what do I do? I go, click on the little "Add a page link" button, and have to navigate through the confusing mess of entry points and such until I get to my page. In this case Welcome > Wiki+ > MyWiki > Character Creation > Races > Humans. This is a mess. It is painful to use, time consuming, and I hate it to be honest. I've lately gotten to see a better way which I am requesting here. That way is to add a search field to the whole tree picker thing. Keep the tree picking mess for those who aren't sure what they are looking for I guess, but have so you can type in the little search field and it will either find the page or bring you a lot closer to the page. Bonus points for autocompletion in the search field! With that feature, I'd be able to search Humans and hopefully be a lot closer to the page I want to link to instead of having to dig through the tree mess. |
| Steps to reproduce | Make a lot of wiki pages. On one page, try to use the "Add page link" button" to link to another wiki page. Scream in frustration as you have to dig through the trees. |
| Additional information | This could be useful for far more than just the Wiki+. |
