| Description | It is not necessary to ban an IP because the ftp installer feature fails.

| Steps to reproduce | I created a clean lamp install on a new server. I installed ftp and created an account for the installer. I logged in to that account to verify permissions creating directories and files, writing to them, and removing them. I provided the credentials to the ftp install. It fails. Tailing the ftp conx only shows that the directory is created and a zero-length install.php file is placed there.
My ip is banned and I have to wait an hour. |

The quick installer has been used over many years, without any kind of auto-banning by middleware/servers, so this seems like some quirk of your systems, such as incorrect intrusion pattern analysis or flood-banning.
