Currently fields can be defined to be searchable or not. This also sets whether they show up as a sort option when browsing categories. That's not great, sortable and searchable are pretty disjoint concepts. Sortable should be a separate option. 2) Separate out something being searched within the main keyword search, and available for template search. SUMMARY: Searchable becomes 3 options: 1) Sortable 2) Inside main search scope 3) Available to search |
