Description The activity feed could use additional improvement by utilizing content integration. For example, activity feeds on other systems have the capability of allowing users to post statuses, new photos/videos, and so on. We could make our activity feed do the same perhaps (except integrate the content types with their respective CMS location... eg. if I add a photo via. the activity feed, what it really does is it adds the photo to a gallery of my choosing and then displays it in the feed).

In addition to the above, have the activity feed render content (if permissions permit it) using meta_aware render boxes instead of simply saying "Someone added a new photo to the gallery, blah." (if permissions do not permit it... say if the user doesn't have view access to that specific content... then fall back to just the text example).
