| Description | "Note that a page viewed under HTTPS will use HTTPS for all images and other embedded files. The banner will be disabled to make sure this requirement is enforced."
This is stated in http://compo.sr/docs/tut-security.htm . However, I run my site on full HTTPS, and the banner system works fine. Maybe this should be taken out or re-worded? |

The banner will be disabled on any page set to use HTTPS via the [tt]ssl[/tt] addon to make sure this requirement is enforced (if your whole base URL is https then banners will display and it is up to the webmaster to make sure they are HTTPS-compliant).
