Since March this year I have made use of the catalogue system to allow site users to buy tickets for our Annual Gatheting in June - it works really well except for the emailing of the dispatch notices. In most cases people receive the email but I have had quite a few users complain that the email has not arrived. I can explain a couple of them because the users had turned off their ecommerce notifications. But the rest just seem as though they were never received/sent. It would be good to be able to have an option to resend the email, make it swifter for admin. I would also like to be able better track these email notifications to better understand why some users are not receiving them - perhaps a read receipt adding ? Cheers Ade |

Comments
I can think of 3 things in the system already that can help in this situation.
1) You can set the "Carbon-copy e-mail address" config option. You could put it to some email account only used for this purposes that you don't normally check. Forward back an email to a user from it if they need it re-sent.
2) The e-mail log in the Admin Zone provides some debugging help.
3) The dispatch email is sent from the add note screen. It just so happens that doing a dispatch prepopulates a note, but you can add an identical note (or something closely similar) manually.
