| Description | Using a test profile with member priviledges I tried to "add news" in the test profiles blog. I initiated this attempt via the "add news" link at the bottom of the Blog Side Bar menu. The message did not show up in the Blog Side Bar menu. I changed the permissions in this test profile blog "news" category and this caused the validation check box to appear the next time I created a test message. However, the test message did not appear in the sidebar blog menu until I logged in as an admin and clicked the validation box.
I posted another test message via the add news icon in the Blog side bar menu. Again there was no indication this post existed until I found it in "My Profile" and then blog. I clicked on the test message which prompted a system message saying the post was not validated. I hit edit, then clicked the validate box and saved. This allowed the posting to appear in the blog side bar menu. |
