| Summary | 851: Date and Date Time Catalogue fields have issues with older dates. | ||||
| Description | I have a Date field in a catalogue and wanted to enter a date of Sept 15th 2004. The Drop down for years goes from 2012 to 2017 and when it asks to type a year manually it does not update to that year. If browsing the pop-up clandar I can browse to a date but selecting does not update any of the date fields nor does that pop-up go away once selected. Also note the pop-up Calendar occaisionally doesn't work. It pops up but the date says undefined NaN and it doesn't work. This was tested in firefox 15.0.1 and Chrome 22.0.1229.79 Site is running Composr 9.0.2 | ||||

Automated response: Interactive date chooser malfunctions Selecting old dates doesn't work via the '...' option. Selecting old dates via manual calendar browsing doesn't work. A CSS display issue happens due to a Google Chrome bug. |

Fixed in git commit 665e494 (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/665e494 - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |
