Summary | 713: Field-types may not be defined correctly
Description | Certain field 'hooks' allow multiple actual kinds of field. One example is the 'content link' hook, which defines a separate field type for linking to each kind of content in Composr. This was new to v8, but unfortunately the selection of the content type did not save correctly. To resolve this apply this hotfix, then edit the catalogue to reselect the correct field type you wanted (you'll see it is showing as 'A brief line of text' but that is only because it can't get a match - until you save this form with the right selection of field type, you'll still get catalogue errors).

Fixed in git commit aed722c (https://github.com/chrisgraham/Composr/commit/aed722c - link will become active once code pushed) A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) have been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). |
