Summary | 5464: Add clarification to section where members send points
Description | Points profile page: On the section allowing members to send points to another member, make it clear the feature should only be used when rewarding members for something good they did. If exchanging points for a transaction / purchase, they should escrow them instead.
Additional Information | This should only appear if the member has the privilege to escrow points

Upon further thought, I don't like the term "should use". Perhaps instead we should say something like "This feature is intended for rewarding other members for high-quality content or good deeds." And the escrow section says "This feature is intended for sending points to a member as a transaction for something else, such as a product, piece of content, or service." By using this language, we can set clear the intent of the features but without the dogma of "requiring" sites to use them in that way as would saying "should". |
