I cannot figure this out; the block is not behaving at all like I expect it to according to the code. Passing over to Chris.

I am referring to the actual (side) block, not the bottom panel. Sorry for the confusion.

Noted. I'll look into it, however the bottom block also has problems. I'll split this off into two issues, this for the side block and the new one for the bottom one.

Automated response: Users online block does not show Display name

The side_users_online block uses usernames (cached from the sessions table) instead of display names. Ideally, it should use display names. This will have a tiny performance hit as we need to query for the display name. But considering blocks have a cache, this shouldn't be a problem.

Fixed in git commit 85317c947a (https://gitlab.com/composr-foundation/composr/commit/85317c947a - link will become active once code pushed to GitLab)

A hotfix (a TAR of files to upload) has been uploaded to this issue. These files are made to the latest intra-version state (i.e. may roll in earlier fixes too if made to the same files) - so only upload files newer than what you have already. If there are files in a hot-fix that you don't have then they probably relate to addons that you don't have installed and should be skipped. Always take backups of files you are replacing or keep a copy of the manual installer for your version, and only apply fixes you need. These hotfixes are not necessarily reliable or well supported. Not sure how to extract TAR files to your Windows computer? Try 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).

Needs checking if the bug exists in v11
