Summary | 2648: Missing action logs for certain actions?
Description | I'm curious as if it was intentionally done that actions such as add topic and add post do not have a log_it for the action log, yet editing and deleting do have one. I think it'd be useful if in a small way to have an add topic action log entry (param A is forum ID, param B is topic ID), and an add post action log entry (param A is topic ID, param B is post ID).

Sorry flip-flop param a and b |

Just to reduce noise in the logs. Maybe it would be okay now that we have a better UI than when this was originally designed. |
|
Hmm you have a point about noise, especially if it's a very active website. I arbitrarily coded in a couple log_it's into my site and realized it will also log private topics (might be okay / useful though), as well as "posts" because of IM conversation archiving (now that can definitely flood the logs). |
|
I've implemented this under some hidden options, for the chatroom too. |
